But what does this strike require? Does it just require swing? Would you be able to hit the ball if you are not holding the bat correctly? Or if your timing is not right? Or if you are not standing correctly? Or if you don't know how to run?

Similarly Forex Trading is not just about placing the trade and closing the trade. It is about -

2. When to exit for maximum profit.

3. How to prepare for the eventuality of unsuccessful trades

4. How to decide when not to trade

and a lot of other points.

This is what money management is all about. It is a must in forex trading and even in any form of business.

Let me put it this way, if a person doesn't know money management,  that trader can never be successful.

And thats the reason majority of the traders fail.

But, to be honest, I won't blame them for this. Its because no one has told them about this? Everyone is just telling them to find a trading strategy.

Now I agree that finding strategy is extremely important. But a strategy cannot work effectively without principles of money management.
